Workshop pictures, workbench
I strive to create unique pieces of furniture with timeless beauty, made to the highest standard, using native timbers where possible.

My journey into furniture making has been filled with beautiful people, coincidences, generosity and favour. There´s too much to write down here, but I´ll happily share it with you if you want to drop by the workshop for a cup of tea.

In brief, after achieving a degree in Fine Art in Sheffield, I found myself drawn to Cornwall, where I fell into studying Hand Crafted Furniture and my passion for the craft began.

I subsequently worked as an apprentice and furniture maker for Scott Woyka Furniture, before briefly setting up my first workshop in 2010. Later that year love hijacked me and brought me to Stavanger where I continue to live happily with my beautiful wife and two daughters.

In 2016, I was offered the workshop at Kongsgata 34, to begin a new chapter in my career, and I have enjoyed making finely crafted furniture here ever since.

I am continually amazed by the beauty and richness to be found in wood, and feel privileged to have a job where I am constantly developing and honing my skills as craftsman and designer.
